The data produced by our laboratory analyses and field measurements is used subsequently for a variety of environmental models and statistical analyses. 

We offer statistical modelling of the zone of environmental impact of aquaculture farms, by integrating various parameters such as cage positions, fluxes, currents, depths, feed types and feeding schemes to calculate the Allowable Zone of Effect (AZE) as required by the ASC Seabass, Seabream and Meagre Standard Version 1.1. 

Furthermore, we calculate ecological quality and biodiversity indices based on the macrozoobenthos, such as the Benthic Quality Index (BQI), BENTIX or AMBI, as well as the Shannon-Wiener and other biodiversity indices. We have also lots of expertise in advanced statistical analyses for benthic ecology research, including multivariate statistics.
